Although your AJAX system is completely controlled via your smartphone app, even when you are home or work and in range of the HUB, if the internet is down then you cannot communicate with your HUB. in these instances it is advisable to have at least one keypad within the range of your HUB so you can control arming and disarming the system with both power outages and no internet. this is because the AJAX ecosystem is not reliant on your WiFi for security operations, only to communicate with the outside world when you are away.
